Shelton Reportedly To Spend $1.2M To Buy 25-Acre Property
The property is located off Old Mill Road.

SHELTON, CT — Looking to add to its inventory of properties, Shelton has approved a plan to spend $1.2 million to buy a 25-acre parcel off Old Mill Road, the Connecticut Post reported. The Board of Aldermen approved the purchase last week.
The city is buying the property from Shelton-based Wells Holdings, and the land abuts other property Shelton owns in the area. A tree farm is on part of the property.
What the parcel will be used for has not been determined, but all or portions of it may end up remaining open space.
