Shelton Resident Wins CT Lottery Prize

The lucky winner bought the ticket in Monroe, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

SHELTON, CT — A Shelton resident is $30,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket she purchased in Monroe, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Wednesday, Michele Fida claimed a winning MEGA MILLIONS ticket she purchased at the Rite Aid on Monroe Turnpike.

The lottery did not disclose how Fida won the prize, but she may have matched four numbers and the Mega Ball with a "Megaplier."
