Shelton Residents Run in the Boston Marathon

It’s a rainy and chilly morning in Boston but the 119th Boston Marathon is underway.

Two Shelton residents are part of the group of runners making their way from from Hopkinton, Mass. to the finish line in Boston.

Lisa Allen, 38 and Lydia Segui, 40 are local residents taking part in the 26-mile race.

Allen is participating in Wave 3 while Segui is participating in Wave 4. Both waves kicked off between 10 and 11 a.m.

A post race party that begins at 6:30 p.m. will be held at Fenway Park.

Cheer on your fellow Shelton residents as they make their way to the finish line!
