Shelton Restaurant Fire Quickly Extinguished Tuesday

A kitchen fire at a Shelton restaurant Tuesday morning was extinguished by firefighters.

An article in the Danbury News Times said “the grease fire was minor and confined to the kitchen.”

The manager of Asian Bistro at 702 Bridgeport Ave. said the establishment will likely not be open for a few days because of the cleanup involved.

The one-alarm fire was called in at 8:20 a.m. and was put out shortly after 9 a.m.
