Shelton School Administrators To Get Raise
Administrators will get three years of raises, but will have to pay more for health insurance.

SHELTON, CT — Shelton school administrators will see a bump in pay, but an increase in health insurance costs after a three-year contract was approved.
The raises will be 2.9 percent starting in July 2018, 2.9 percent in July 2019 and 2.8 percent in July 2020, according to the Connecticut Post. The Shelton High School headmaster will make $174,110 by the end of the contract.
Administrators will pay 19 percent of the cost of health care and new administrators will only be able to cash out $35,000 of sick time at retirement.
