Shelton School Bus Drivers Authorize Strike

The union has been working without a contract since July 2018.

SHELTON, CT — The Shelton school bus drivers union members have authorized a strike as they continue to negotiate with their employer Durham School Services.

The workers have been without a contract since July 2018 when Durham took over transportation for the district, according to the Shelton Herald. Durham refused to honor a previous agreement that included wage increases, according to union officials.

Negotiations are between Durham School Services and the union.
