Shelton Schools First Day For Students Announced
Shelton Public Schools will operate on a hybrid model at the beginning of the school year.
SHELTON, CT — Shelton Public Schools will start with a hybrid in-person/remote learning model in September for all grades. The first day for students will be Tuesday Sept. 8.
The Board of Education approved the decision on Aug. 12. Students will have two in-school days per week and all schools will operate on an early release schedule for all of September. This will help avoid the hottest part of the day, according to a presentation put together by school staff.
