SHELTON, CT — Shelton Public Schools will go fully remote until January after a spike of coronavirus cases in the district.

The switch to full remote learning will take place Wednesday and last until Jan. 1, according to the Shelton Herald.

Interim Superintendent Beth Smith made the announcement in aletter to school families. She said it was a difficult decision, but increasing positive cases have made it difficult to safely keep schools open and staffed, according to the Hartford Courant.
