Shelton State Park Swimming Area Temporarily Closed: DEEP
An Indian Well State Park swimming area is temporarily closed following a recent water quality test performed by the state.
SHELTON, CT — A swimming area of Indian Well State Park in Shelton is closed following a recent bacteria levels test, according to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
In a news release, DEEP officials said retesting will take place at the state park Wednesday and results will be released Thursday.
The Mashamoquet Brook State Park swimming area in Pomfret was also closed for swimming following the DEEP test.
