Shelton Thanksgiving Trash Schedule
Here's how the holiday will change the pickup schedule.
SHELTON, CT — Shelton won't have trash and recycling pickup on Thanksgiving. Residents who normally have pickup on Thursday will have their items collected on Friday Nov. 29.
Friday's collection will start on Friday, but won't be completed until Saturday.
The city yard will be closed Nov. 28 and 29. The transfer station will be closed Thanksgiving, but will open Nov. 29 from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The compost site will be open Nov. 29 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday Nov. 30 from 7 a.m. to noon.
