Shelton Towne Center Project Hits Potential Snag
The current plan could cause flooding to nearby single family homes, according to a city engineer's report.

SHELTON, CT — The Towne Center Shelton Ridge project has hit a snag after a city engineer found two deficiencies in the plan.
Water flow and soil erosion problems could lead to at least four backyards flooding on nearby Mill Street, according to the Connecticut Post.
The project proposal consists of 375 apartments, a retail outlet store and office space. Save Our Shelton members sued the city's Planning and Zoning Commission for approving a zoning change for the project. That lawsuit is pending.
