Shelton's Community Tree Lighting Set For Friday
The event will be held at Veteran's Memorial Park on Canal Street East in Shelton.
SHELTON, CT — Shelton's holiday Community Tree Lighting celebration is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday at Veterans Memorial Park on Canal Street East, according to organizers.
The event will feature live music, refreshments, ornament making and other activities; see the Facebook post below. Santa also is scheduled to make an appearance.
The event is open to the public; another tree lighting ceremony also in Shelton is scheduled for Sunday at Huntington Green.
