Shelton's Ethics Board Hasn't Met in 3 Years

And two members have resigned.

SHELTON, CT — The city's Board of Ethics has not held a meeting in nearly three years, and according to Mayor Mark Lauretti, the reason is simple... there have not been any complaints during that span.

The board's last meeting was in October 2013, and since then two members also have resigned. Shelton has yet to fill the vacancies, reports the Shelton Herald.

Shelton resident Greg Tetro alerted the Board of Aldermen of the issue during a recent meeting, because he said he had a host of ethical concerns that he hoped to have a addressed. City officials said they intend to fill the vacancies in the future.
