Shelton's Trap Falls Kennel Club Hosts Responsible Dog Ownership Day in Milford

Mayor Blake of Milford will sign proclamation of Saturday, Sept 27 as Responsible Dog Ownership Day in Milford.

Trap Falls Kennel Club is based in Shelton. We are a non-profit club of the American Kennel Club (AKC) and do a lot of public education and community service around Shelton and the county. We hold a Responsible Dog Ownership Day (RDOD) event every year in various towns throughout Fairfield and New Haven Country. This year, our RDOD is in Milford.

Mayor Blake of Milford will be signing a document stating that Sat Sept 27 is Responsible Dog Ownership Day in Milford CT. This is in celebration of Trap Falls Kennel Club and Milford CT hosting ‘K-9 Karnival’, an AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day event, on Sat, Sept 27in Eisenhower Park in Milford, CT.

Local dignitaries will be on hand for the signing and presentation as well as Club members’ and their dogs in front of Milford Town Hall, Thursday Sept 27 at 10:30 am at 70 West River St. in Milford CT.
