Soccer & Rugby Business Buys Derby Building

The company will move its headquarters to Derby.

SHELTON, CT — Soccer & Rugby Imports of Southport bought the former VARCA building for $450,000 from the City of Derby.

The building used to be a social center and job training facility for mentally impaired children in the Valley, according to the Connecticut Post.

Soccer & Rugby Imports will move its corporate headquarters and production line to Derby, likely in the fall. The company sells sports gear, including customized jerseys and other items.
