South & Westie Kitchen & Bar To Fill Former Shelton Restaurant Space

A familiar Bridgeport Avenue restaurant space is getting new life after Shelton officials approved plans for a new dining spot.

SHELTON, CT — A new American-style restaurant has received zoning approval to open in a familiar Shelton dining spot that previously housed Vazzy's Cucina and Torito Mexican Restaurant.

The Shelton Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved plans for South & Westie Kitchen & Bar at its Oct. 14 meeting, according to the Connecticut Post.

The restaurant is planned for 706 Bridgeport Ave., Building 5, Suite 101, at The Center at Split Rock, according to an application and architectural plans submitted to the city.
