Special Thanks to White Hills Fire Co. 5 by Theresa Burden

SPECIAL THANKS TO WHITE HILLS FIRE CO. 5 BY THERESA BURDEN

It was the sound of sirens that woke us this morning.  We ventured outside in our pajamas to catch a glimpse of the motorcade making its way up our street.  Lights were flashing and sirens blaring.  Our friends from the White Hills Firehouse were paying visits to all the White Hills Neighbors.  Above all, they were transporting Santa atop one of the fire trucks, who gave us bystanders a hand wave and wink.  It was a parade of friends from the local fire house.  The volunteers collected new, unwrapped toys for children less fortunate, or ones that may go without a gift at Christmas.   Through their generosity, they tossed packaged popcorn ball treats for everyone to enjoy.  It was a delight to wake up to the sounds of the sirens knowing Santa and his helpers were paying a visit.  It is with deep appreciation, we would like to thank Santa and all the volunteers at White Hill Fire Co. for keeping this tradition alive each year, and demonstrating the true meaning of generosity.  Thank you for efforts and bringing joy and the spirit of the season to us all.  In the spirit of the Spirit, may you have a happy and safe holiday.
