Fairfield Prep Junior Killed In Stabbing, 3 Others Hurt: Shelton PD

Police said their investigation is ongoing and asked the public to submit any videos and or information regarding the stabbing.

SHELTON, CT — Four people were stabbed late Saturday and a 17-year-old teenager was killed, police said.

At 11:55 p.m., Shelton Police and EMS responded to Laurel Glen Drive on a report of a fight and a stabbing. Police found numerous teenagers outside a residence.

"Four stabbing victims were located, given medical attention, and sent to the hospital," said Lt. Robert Kozlowsky in a news release. "One of the stabbing victims, a 17 year old male, was later pronounced deceased."

"Detectives responded and took over the investigation with assistance from the patrol division and the Milford State’s Attorney’s Office," police added. "This is an active ongoing investigation at this time. No arrests have been made at this point."

In a statement released Sunday afternoon, Fairfield Prep confirmed that the 17-year-old killed was a junior at the school, as reported by WTNH News 8.

"As the school responds to our grieving community, we hold him and his family and friends in our prayers at this difficult time," the school said, according to WTNH News 8. The student's name has not been released.
