Teen Stabs Victim After Drugs Turn Out To Be OTC Medicine: PD
The teen was less than pleased when he found out the drugs he wanted to buy were simple over-the-counter medicine, police said.

ANSONIA, CT — An 18-year-old man was arrested after he stabbed someone who tried to sell him a prescription drug that was in fact over-the-counter medicine, according to police.
The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries Aug. 15 on Vine Street. The victim told police he tried selling the medicine to Ethan Denton who became angry when he realized what he was buying. Denton and the victim know each other, police said. The victim was stabbed in the chest.
Denton was located and arrested by police. He was charged with first-degree assault, second-degree threatening and criminal attempt to possess a controlled substance. He was held on $50,000 bail.
