Time to Register for Shelton Youth Football and Cheer

Leaves are sprouting on trees and blades of grass are growing again as Shelton moves deeper into spring. This is also the time of year when boys suit up for football and girls practice their cheer routines.

On Saturday, April 27, Shelton Youth Football and Cheer will host a registration session at Just Tumble & Hard Kore Fitness, 405 Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton, from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Families will have the opportunity to meet the youth coaches and to take home a free T-shirt. It's all part of the April Spring Fever Registration Special.

The cost of registration for football is $199 for boys in grades 4 to 8. It's $139 for 79ers (ages 7-9) and for families registering more than one player, each additional child is $99.

Cheer registration is $175 for D8 to D13; $89 for Mitey-Mite and each additional child is $75. A new Tiny-Mite cheer squad for ages 5, 6 and 7 is free for children to join.

There is a new deferred payment option with a $50 down payment and a deferred balance to June 1. For information, email the registration coordinator at ayfshelton@gmail.com.
