Trash Pickup Day Changed For Several Streets In Shelton

SHELTON, CT — A number of streets in Shelton will have their trash pickup day changed next month, city officials announced Tuesday.

According to the city's Facebook page, the following streets in town will have their trash pickup day changed from Friday to Wednesday beginning Oct. 5:

• Beard Street
• Canal Street West
• Center Street
• Coram Avenue from Wooster Street to Myrtle Street
• Cornell Street
• Howe Avenue from Brook Street to Myrtle Street
• Perry Avenue
• White Street

Scheduled recycle weeks will not change, however recycle pickup day will change to Wednesday instead of Friday, city officials said.
