Trash, Recycling Pick Up Postponed In Shelton Due To Impending Storm
City officials said there will be no trash or recycling pick up Tuesday due to a forecasted snowstorm.

SHELTON, CT — There will be no trash or recycling pick up Tuesday due to a forecasted snowstorm.
According to the city's Facebook page, all trash and recycling will be delayed one day until Saturday. The transfer station will also be closed on Tuesday.
Shelton City Hall is currently scheduled to open Tuesday at 10 a.m., according to city officials.

A strong snow storm is expected to hit the state Tuesday, however the track is forecast to stay more south, which means northern parts of the state are now expected to receive less snow compared to the southern part of Connecticut. This is a complete reversal from Sunday's forecast.
