Two Shelton Liquor Stores Receive Violations
Both stores were cited for allegedly selling alcohol to a minor.

Two Shelton liquor stores received citations from the State Department of Consumer Protection, Liquor Control Commission in July.
According to DCP, Linda’a Liquors and Wines located at 350 Bridgeport Avenue paid a fine of $500 and was suspended for one day on July 6.
The suspension was imposed due to the store allegedly selling alcohol to a minor, the permittee on the liquor license’s signature not appearing on the license and not having the permit hanging in plain view.

White Hills IGA, located at 200 Leavenworth Road paid a fine of $500 and was suspended for one day on July 29, according to DCP.
The suspension was imposed due to the store allegedly selling alcohol to a minor.
