Veteran-Oriented Service After Service To Open In Shelton
The non-profit helps veterans continue helping communities at home.
SHELTON, CT — Non-profit Service After Service will have a ribbon cutting grand opening at its new Shelton office on Howe Avenue April 2.
The organization helps veterans continue to serve their communities at home. It has put $60,000 back into programs like Track & Field, Confidence Through Modeling, 10K Hours Math & Reading, STEM programs and more.
"We meet motivated, strong veterans daily that just want to do something good in the community,” said Loni Lymus, CEO & President and decorated U.S. Navy officer. “We want to be a conduit to ‘build a tradition of service’ like our motto says, because doing something good, shouldn’t be hard.”
