Winning $100,000 CT Lottery Ticket Sold In Shelton
An unnamed Shelton resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
SHELTON, CT — An unnamed Shelton resident is $100,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Monday, the person claimed a winning CASH5 ticket that was purchased from the Citgo gas station on River Road.
The CASH5 game, which costs $1 per wager, involves choosing five different numbers from one to 35. "Kickers" can be added for an extra $0.50 per wager to increase potential winnings.

Overall odds vary from 1 in 18, to 1 in 324,632, depending on how many winning numbers are matched, and whether Kickers also are used.
