Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Shelton
A local resident also is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
SHELTON, CT — A Shelton resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Friday, Troy Zaleski claimed a winning "30X Cash 9th Edition" ticket he purchased at Howe Liquor Mart on Howe Avenue.
The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in January, and as of Tuesday, 97 grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed. Additionally, 93 second place prizes of $10,000 also remained unclaimed.

More than 1 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.53.
