An area resident recently purchased a winning lottery ticket in Derby, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

DERBY, CT — An area resident is $15,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket this week in Derby, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

On Monday, New Haven resident Denise Antunes won $15,416 playing a "PLAY4 NIGHT" game. The winning ticket was purchased from Big Y World Class Market #117 in Derby, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
