Free event: More than a dozen Simsbury artists – painters, potter and sculpture, jeweler and photographer - will open their studios to the public on Saturday and Sunday, May 2 and 3 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm during the 6th Annual Simsbury Open Studios event. The artists have been busy preparing their studios and creating new art work for the event. Last year, SCTV manager Althea Greaney filmed a 30-minute program, featuring several of the artists, that can be viewed at www.simsburytv.org.
The general public has the opportunity to meet local artists in their studios, watch demos and purchase original local art.

We are excited to partner with the Simsbury Free Library at 749 Hopmeadow Street this year to showcase examples of each artist’s work. Maps will also be available at the Free Library.
