Aiden Brown Receives Lt Richard F. Kelleher Memorial Scholarship

Aiden Brown, Simsbury High School class of 2019, received the Lieutenant Richard F. Kelleher Memorial Scholarship given by the Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company.

Brown will attend the University of New Hampshire where he will study Business Administration. While at Simsbury High, he was on the football, wrestling and rugby teams all four years, as well as being a junior firefighter with the Fire Company for three years.

Brown is the son of Michael and Stephanie Brown of the Tariffville section of Simsbury.

The Kelleher scholarship was established in 1983 and is given annually in memory of the first Simsbury firefighter to die in the line of duty.
