Attendees can also purchase plants and learn about home gardening from Holcomb Farm, Thrive Farm and Levo International. The Bionutrient Food Association will provide free seeds.

Family-oriented activities include a nature walk hosted by the Simsbury Land Trust at 10:30 a.m., opportunities to see animals from Auerfarm, and hands-on projects such as book upcycling and seed planting led by local groups.

Children can also participate in a sustainability calendar program to earn prizes.

Organizers said the event is intended to connect residents with practical tools and local resources to support sustainability efforts across the Farmington Valley.
