According to the town, the Simsbury Economic Development Commission serves as an advisory body to the Simsbury Board of Selectmen and works to promote Simsbury’s economic resources and support local development initiatives.

The commission typically meets on the fourth Wednesday of every other month beginning in February.

Officials said the group focuses on economic development updates, incentive programs, and community engagement efforts related to business and development issues in town.

Residents interested in serving are asked to complete a volunteer submission form through the town website.

Additional information is available through the Simsbury Town Manager’s Office at 860-658-3230.
