SIMSBURY, CT — A Simsbury resident enjoyed a festive start to the Fourth of July holiday weekend last week with a very profitable trip to a local store.
According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., the person won $25,000 playing the Play 4 daily drawing game on Thursday, July 2.
The winning ticket was purchased at Fitzgerald's Food, located at 710 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury.
Play 4 is a daily drawing game that has a maximum payout of $25, 000.
The cost to play starts at 50 cents, but folks can spend up to $5 to play and increase their odds of winning.
