Primary Day In Simsbury, What You Need To Know

Voters must enroll in a party by July 24 to vote in the Aug. 11 Democratic and Republican primaries.

SIMSBURY, CT — Simsbury voters have until Friday, July 24, to enroll in a political party online or by mail if they want to participate in Connecticut's Aug. 11 primary election.

Town officials said only voters registered with a political party are eligible to vote in that party's primary.

Voters may also enroll in a party in person until noon on the day before they vote, whether they plan to cast a ballot during the early voting period or on Primary Day.

Early voting

Early voting will take place Aug. 3-9 in the Main Meeting Room at Simsbury Town Hall, 933 Hopmeadow St.
