SIMSBURY, CT — Drivers traveling on West Street in Simsbury should expect intermittent lane closures Wednesday as town crews perform utility work.
The Simsbury Public Works Department said its Water Pollution Control division will adjust manholes on West Street between Bushy Hill Road and Hopmeadow Street on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
Work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
West Street will remain open to traffic, but intermittent lane closures are expected throughout the day while crews complete the work.
Town officials are recommending that motorists use alternate routes when possible to avoid potential delays.
