• 9/23/2026 Zoning Commission Legal Notice of Action (simsbury-ct.gov) — Simsbury's Zoning Commission has approved three key items, including new signage for Orkil Field and an illuminated message sign at Simsbury Farms, both on Old Farms Road. The commission also adopted a zoning text amendment tied to FEMA's updated flood map study, which could affect how certain Simsbury properties are regulated in the future.
   

• Avon/St. Paul drops defensive battle against Simsbury, 20-6 (bristolpress.com) — Simsbury's football team ground out a 20-6 road win over Avon/St. Paul, leaning on timely defense and two touchdown passes from quarterback Braeden Siano. After trading early scores, Simsbury's defense tightened, setting up a key interception and third-quarter touchdown. The Trojans now look ahead to hosting Bloomfield on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 6:30 p.m.
