New Benefits Announced for JCC Early Childhood Center at Emek Shalom Families

(Simsbury, CT January 27, 2012)  Budgets and bodies will get a healthy stretch with a new benefit for families of children enrolled in the JCC Early Childhood Center at Emek Shalom, 55 Bushy Hill Road, Simsbury, CT. The ECC is affiliated with the Mandell JCC, Zachs Campus, 335 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT, 06117. Effective immediately, a full family membership to the Mandell JCC’s state-of-the-art fitness, wellness and aquatics facility in West Hartford will be provided to current and new preschool families.

Mandell JCC membership benefits for parents and children include access to three swimming pools, a full size gymnasium, fitness center with cardio equipment, free weight room, personal trainers, locker rooms, racquetball courts, a children’s indoor Playscape, Club Coolfit for youth, sports leagues, arts and culture programs, member discounts for classes, events and programs, over 100 weekly free land and water exercise classes and more. 

Registration for the JCC Early Childhood Center at Emek Shalom Fall 2012 session is currently underway. Options and sessions for 2-5 year olds vary and programs are available for two, three or five days per week. Enrollment and membership to the Mandell JCC and its preschools is open to everyone. The Mandell JCC, founded in 1915, is supported by funds raised by the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford, a recipient of funding from the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Hartford, a beneficiary agency of the United Way and a member of the JCC Association of North America.
