SIMSBURY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Emerson College, Boston MA

• Amelia Toscano of West Simsbury and Emily McMann of Simsbury have been named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. The requirement to make the Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher that semester.

Muhlenberg College, Allentown PA

• More than 1,000 students were named to the fall 2018 Dean's List at Muhlenberg College, including Eleanor Hardee and Anna Ricciuti, both of West Simsbury. To earn this academic achievement, students must earn a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the term.

University of Scranton, Scranton PA

• Miranda R. Livingston of Simsbury was among nearly 1,600 students named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2018 fall semester. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean's List. Livingston is a sophomore international studies major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.
