Bryant University, Smithfield RI

• Inspired to excel, 788 members of Bryant University's Class of 2018, including three from Simsbury, were awarded a Bryant degree at the University's 155th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 18. Brandon Bush graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Finance. Jacob Lewtan graduated with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Accounting. Nicholas Stamboulis graduated with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Marketing.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Select students have been named to the spring 2018 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester. Honorees from Simsbury are Karissa Ekwall, Amy Franklin, Megan Livingston, Kelsey Novy and Tyler Patria.

Tufts University, Medford MA

• Maxwell Turpin of Simsbury graduated from Tufts University on May 20, 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology (BS) Summa Cum Laude during a university-wide commencement ceremony that featured the awarding of honorary degrees to a number of academic, business and civic leaders making a positive impact on the world.
• Tufts University recently announced the dean's list for the spring 2018 semester. Simsbury students earning dean's list honors were Iris Becene, Emily Burstein, Katherine Deveaux, Christiana Hug and Kathleen Martensen. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
