  • Five residents of Simsbury were among the 1,127 students who received their degrees in May as part of the Class of 2018: Karissa Ekwall, Cum Laude with a B.S. in Criminal Justice; Sean Gaffney, with a B.S. in Management; Jane Henrich, with a B.S. in Marketing; Megan Livingston, Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Elementary Education; and Kelsey Novy, Cum Laude with a B.A. in Graphic Design Communications.

St. Lawrence University, Canton NY

  • Four students from Simsbury have been selected for inclusion on the Dean's List for academic achievement during the spring 2018 semester at St. Lawrence University. They are: Katherine B. Angus, a member of the Class of 2020 majoring in English; Hannah R. Gailey, a member of the Class of 2021; Katharine G. Hovey, a member of the Class of 2018 majoring in Hispanic studies and business in the liberal arts; and Morgan E. Ryan, a member of the Class of 2020 majoring in statistics. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.
