Backtrack to Perform at Westminster School Jan. 6
New York City a cappella group Backtrack will give a free public performance at Westminster School Jan. 6.

Westminster School continues its Friday Nights in Gund series Jan. 6 with a musical performance by Backtrack, a five-member a cappella powerhouse group from New York City.
Backtrack proclaims New York City as its playground and muse. Since its founding in 2013, the group has amassed more than 6 million views and 65,000 subscribers on YouTube. This year, the group won the 2016 YouTube Next Up competition and was described by Business Insider as one of the “34 up-and-coming YouTube stars you should be watching right now.” Westminster alumnus Andrew Kim is one of the performers.
Backtrack’s Westminster School concert is free and open to the public and will begin at 7 p.m. in the school’s Werner Centennial Center. The school is located at 995 Hopmeadow St. in Simsbury. Ample parking will be available in the parking lot adjacent to Armour Academic Center.
