Chamber Members Break Ground for New Development

Simsbury Chamber members, Ron Janeczko and Chris Nelson of Landworks Development, LLC and Gary Emerito and Susan Eastman of Landworks Realty, hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking today at Carson Way.

Carson Way is a planned community of seventy-four new single family homes nestled into the natural landscape of Powder Forest Drive, with a main entrance off Stratton Brook Road.

Among the invited guests were members of Town staff, Webster Bank, Ensign Bickford, Simscroft-Echo Farms, homeowners at Powder Forest Homes, Simsbury Chamber of Commerce and local media.

Both Ron Janeczko and Chris Nelson made a few remarks and answered questions about the new project.  President of Simscroft Echo-Farms, Mike Girard, manned the backhoe to provide the "first ground break" for the ceremonial shovel ceremony.
