Recently I parked my car in the Town Hall parking area. When I returned to my car I found a note in the door, “Get A Life.”

After surveillance of the cameras at the parking lot the person was located and the camera showed him coming down the stairs at Town Hall.

Since the camera footage was not clear, I was not sure who the person was.

After sending the picture to several people who might know him for identification, I received a call from Dave Richman saying he was the one who placed the note on my car. I told him that he was a “dumb ass” and other things and that he should have known that he would be caught.

Diana Moody stole my bumper sticker, “Boycott Mitchell Car Dealership” from my car in the Town Hall parking lot and was also caught on camera.

Diana Moody’s arrest warrant was returned to the Simsbury Police Department and denied on Prosecutorial Discretion from the State’s Attorney Office.

Now both Dave Richman and Diana Moody have been entered into the “Hall of Shame.”

On August 28,2021, Marc Lubetkin, owner of the Red stone Pub was arrested by the Simsbury Police for Illegal Discharge of a Firearm, Illegal Carry Firearm/Drugs /ALC Breach of Peace 2nd degree and Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree.

Over 10,000 concert attendees were in close proximity to the bullets shot in the air.

It is alleged that Marc Lubetkin was under the influence when he discharged bullets from his firearm at the Red Stone Pub. It is also alleged that Lubetkin’s 13 year old son was at the Pub during the incident. It is alleged that DCF was informed of the incident and the Liquor Commission was notified.

Marc Lubetkin’s arrest was noticed on the State Judicial Website with appearance dates. However, when searching the arrest on the Judicial Website, the arrest was statutorily sealed, an unusual occurrence.

After thorough review by the Liquor Commission the investigator assigned to the case concluded that Marc Lubetkin’s License should be suspended.

The recommendation from the investigator was sent to the Liquor Commission Attorney for review.

After legal review, there was a compromised settlement for $1,500 which was paid.

It appears that this case has political overtones with Marc Lubetkin, a Democrat, getting special treatment. If you do the crime, you should do the time.

Marc Lubetkin has another appearance for the arrest on November 3, 2022. 10 AM.

After many decades of public access to police records, Chief Boulter decided to change the policy that is clearly noticed on entrance to the Simsbury Police Department. The notice clearly states, “Contact Records Office using phone provided in Lower lobby. Call X 3125.”

According to Chief Boulter only Lt. Chase can be contacted for information from the public on records. His extension is 3109. This should be noted on the information given to the public on the sign in the entry to the Police Department.

Lt. Chase is not available to accept phone calls when on vacation or in Training. It is also optional, when in his office if and when he will pick up the phone. Access is not available but the Records Room will pick up the phone, when called.

Any enquiries from the public are transferred to Lt. Chase.

Chief Boulter has changed the policy, which is unwritten and arbitrary,

Since Lt. Chase is in the Union, this change in workplace assignments should be considered a violation of the Union regulations and a Grievance should be submitted to the Union.

Chief Boulter has a reputation of being vindictive, when challenged as realized when he fired Sgt. Jason Trombly for untruthfulness.

The Simsbury Police Department voted NO CONFIDENCE in Chief Boulter, alleging that Boulter was creating a hostile work environment and was vindictive.

Ed Kosinski, IBPO National Representative alleged that Chief Boulter lied during the Trombly hearings. A letter was sent from Ed Kosinski to Town Manager Maria Capriola, Police Commissioners and Chief Boulter stating, “I am writing to you on behalf of the IBPO, Local 458. It is our stance that during the termination hearing of Sgt. Trombly, Chief Boulter was untruthful in his testimony, which he provided under oath and penalty of perjury.” Nothing was done.

It is alleged that Chief Boulter stated that he had hoped that two officers would leave the department.

Chief Boulter writes policies for everything in the Police Department but the Record Room policy is unwritten and arbitrary.

There are several Officers on the list to become Sergeants while waiting for Chief Boulter to promote them. The Detective Sergeant has not been appointed with only two Officers in the Detective Division. Has anyone questioned this failing of management?
