Book Collection Drive

The Simsbury Public Library is holding a book collection drive.

The Friends of Simsbury Public Library will hold a collection for the used book sale. They will begin collecting books Tuesday, May 29, until Saturday, August 25. Collection days are Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Books can be dropped off at the Library at 725 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury - signs will be posted and a cart for transporting books is available.

They will also be collecting games, puzzles, CDs, DVDs and computer software. All donated materials should be in good, clean condition. No records, video cassettes, magazines, encyclopedias or textbooks over 3 years old can be accepted.

The Book Sale, all proceeds of which will benefit the Library, will be Saturday, September 8 and Sunday, September 9 Simsbury High School. Volunteers to work on the Collection Drive and the Book Sale itself are welcome.
