UPDATE: Route 315 Re-Opens After Pair of Accidents
A rollover crash was followed immediately by a second accident.

The accidents have been cleared and the roadway re-opened.

A pair of serious crashes have closed a portion of Route 315 in Simsbury.
The portion of Tariffville Road between Terry’s Plain and Quarry roads has been closed, according to a Twitter post from WFSB-TV’s traffic reporter, Nicole Nalepa.

One accident involved a rollover and one involved an extrication, Nalepa posted on Facebook.
NBC Connecticut quoted the Simsbury Fire Department as saying the second vehicle crashed right behind the rollover. The station said the driver in the rollover was “out of the vehicle.”
Motorists are being detoured down Wolcott Road as emergency personnel work at the scene.
