Bridgerton-Inspired Costume Ball Coming to Simsbury in April

Fans of the wildly popular period drama, Bridgerton, have waited two long years since the end of season two to find out what happens next in the lives of their favorite Regency-era family. Luckily, the wait is almost over, as Bridgerton season 3 drops on Netflix on May 16.

To get back into the spirit of this scandalous society, fans are invited to immerse themselves in the beautiful world of Bridgerton at a unique costume ball on April 20th at The Coffee Spot in Simsbury.

All proceeds of this elegant event will benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where a close friend of The Coffee Spot owner Amy Sheehan is currently undergoing treatment for Stage 4 ovarian cancer.

The 'Buryton Ball (a play on Bridgerton and Simsbury) will see the circa 1891 home that houses The Coffee Spot turn into a charming Regency mansion, complete with croquet on the front lawn, tea and dainty sandwiches and treats, ballroom dancing lessons, and even horse and carriage rides around the charming historic Simsbury Center.

The event is black tie optional, and period costumes are encouraged, but not required. The beautiful evening will run from 6:00 - 10:00 pm, and will include a Bridgerton trivia game, a silent auction, optional wine tastings and the opportunity for an elegant portrait by a professional photographer.
