A Beloved Simsbury Framer Returns! Open House Celebration at “Imagine It Framed”

Simsbury, CT — For decades, Imagine It Framed, the cherished frame shop at 544 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury, has been a cornerstone of the local art community as well as repeat clients. Founded by Rich Wagner, the shop became known for his extraordinary eye, creative flair, and impeccable craftsmanship—framing that not only protected artwork,but elevated it. When Rich retired in 2020, many loyal artists and collectors were sad to see him go, though they wished him well on his well-earned rest.

But passion has a way of calling us back.

After a few years away, Rich realized that what he truly missed was the joy of working with devoted customers and artists and helping their visions shine. Now, he’s back— energized, inspired and now with a sparkling new hip he’s ready to share his creativity once again with Simsbury and beyond!

To celebrate, “Imagine It Framed” invites the community to an Open House on Sunday, November 30th, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

The event will be co-hosted by local artist Catherine M. Elliott, a contemporary impressionist painter who has collaborated with Rich since 1990.
