The Friday English Conversation Club provides a welcoming atmosphere for English as a second-language speakers to participate in lively back-and-forth conversation. Meet and get to know others who are also adjusting to life in the U.S. We will share our different cultures with each other and talk about our experiences and other topics of interest. We'll help untangle questions members bring to the group about spoken English. There are no grades, no judgment. This is not an ESL class. All are welcome to attend. Questions? Simsbury Public Library and Simsbury Yarns are teaming up to offer another intermediate knitting class series! &nbsp;
Jeanne Silag, the owner of Simsbury Yarns will be guiding you through intermediate knitting techniques and projects. Knitting needles and yarn will be supplied per project to get you started! &nbsp;
This class series will have 3 sessions on Monday evenings at the Library (11/2, 11/16, and 11/30.) &nbsp;You do not need to register for all classes, just this first class. Please plan to attend all 3 classes. &nbsp;
This is an Intermediate Knitting class, please do not register if you are a beginning knitter. A mock interview is a dress rehearsal that can give you clarity and confidence for your future high-stakes interview. Spots are limited, so please sign up only if you can make the time assigned.
Interviews will be conducted via Zoom with Deb Krawiec. We have had several virtual mock interview sessions with Deb at the Library and have received great feedback from her interviewees.&nbsp;
Deborah (Deb) Krawiec, National Certified Counselor, (NCC) is the founder of Arrow Career Consulting LLC, and is an insightful and inspiring Career Consultant and Counselor. She has worked with all levels of employees and brings to her consulting sessions not only a knowledge of job search strategies, but an understanding of the business world.
