Campus Highlights For Simsbury College Students

SIMSBURY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Colette Zuliani, of Simsbury, has been named to the spring 2019 Dean's List at Roger Williams University, in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Siena College, Loudonville NY

• Julia Fleming was named to the Siena College President's List for the spring 2019 semester. Fleming is from Simsbury. The President's List requires a 3.9 grade point average or higher.

Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven CT

• Southern Connecticut State University baseball freshman Brandon White of Simsbury was named the ECAC Division II Baseball Rookie of the Year. He was one of four players that earned All-ECAC Honorable Mention. White was rewarded for an outstanding freshman campaign that saw the first-year Owl also named the Northeast 10 Conference Rookie Pitcher of the Year while also earning Third Team and All-Rookie honors. He posted a 5-0 record in six starts against NE10 opponents while allowing nine earned runs across 36 1/3 innings for a 2.23 ERA in conference play. Overall, he was 6-1 in 10 starts with 38 strikeouts in 60 innings pitched with a team-leading 3.60 ERA.
