Campus Life - Simsbury College Students

SIMSBURY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Nichols College, Dudley MA

• At their May 5, 2018, graduation from Nichols College, 499 students in the Class of 2018 received degrees. Two were from Simsbury: Rochelle Jones graduated with a BSBA, and David J. Melanson graduated with an MSA.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

• Three Simsbury residents were among 1,474 students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the spring 2018 semester. They are John Pugmire, a member of the class of 2019 majoring in computer science and mathematical sciences; Thomas Kim, a member of the class of 2020 majoring in robotics engineering and mechanical engineering; and Spencer Ralphs, a member of the class of 2019 majoring in mechanical engineering.
