Campus Notes - Simsbury College Students

SIMSBURY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• The theatre program at Eastern Connecticut State University presented the holiday classic "Little Women" from Nov. 28-Dec. 3. The play took place in the intimate venue of Eastern's DelMonte Bernstein Studio Theatre, with a special emphasis on being "sensory-friendly" for audience members with spectrum disorders. Among the participants was Madison Bailey of Simsbury, who was a scenic painter. Bailey majors in Pre-Early Childhood Education and Theatre.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

• John Pugmire of Simsbury, a member of the class of 2019 majoring in computer science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense, hands-on research project in Zurich. The project was titled Creating a Communication Network in Additive Manufacturing.
